Question: While moon/solar eclipse, should pregnant women not to work like cutting, washing, cooking etc?

(Fatwa: 889/702/D=1434) It is baseless. However, it is a time to get oneself busy in the remembrance of Allah (salah, taubah and istighfar). If someone stops eating and drinking due to engagement in salah etc then it is something else; otherwise it is bid’ah and innovation in Shariah to fulfil all world affairs and do sins but leave only eating and drinking. (Aghlatul Awam) The same ruling is for any pregnant woman.
