Title: Madrasah expenses/payment from Masjid Donation Funds.

Question: We are the committee managing a Masjid through the Public Donations. One committee member is also operating a Madrasa within the Masjid Vicinity, Beyond Hifz o Nazrah also teaching some modern Education with 3 Qaris and getting all madrasa expenses from the Masjid Donation Funds being maintained with Masjid Bank Account. Please guide is this allowed / manageable under Shariah through proper fatwa please.

If some member of the mosque runs madrasa in the vicinity of the mosque then it is mandatory on him that he pays its rent to the mosque. Also it is mandatory to spend the collection made for the mosque in the needs of the mosque.

مراعاة غرض الواقفين واجبة.

It is not lawful to use it for madrasa. If the madrasa needs funds, then separate collection should be made for it.
