The sunnah method of doing ghusl is that the person taking a bath should first of all wash both the hands up to the wrists. Then wash the private parts and any impurity if found on the body. Then make wudhu as done for salah. Thereafter pour water over right and left shoulders three times each then on head and over whole body. If water accumulates in the bathing place then the feet should be washed later, otherwise wash them at the time of starting ghusl. So it is mentioned in the book of Fatawa.
