Title: In one of the fatwas issued on this site, regarding internet forums it mentions that if there is an online discussion and there is a female at other end, as long as there is no voice or picture, it is ok. Does this include discussions on msn etc when they are strictly to do with deeni matters.

Does this include discussions on msn etc when they are strictly to do with deeni matters. I do not search any way in which this can be allowed but just curious. Jazakumullahu Khair for your time.

Yes, one can have discussion in this way by writing.

And, if there is no woman at the other end then one can talk at permissible topics as on phones and mobiles.
