Title: As a child I was educated in convent English schools. Due to our ignorance we used to say prayers in school which today I feel was Shirk. For e.g. one of our prayers was "Jesus hear us, we pray .. Keep us safe through this day..... Jesus Lord hear our pray may we rest in thy care" Similarly as teenagers due to our ignorance we used to participate with Hindus praying to their idols during varios festivals. all this was grave shirk as i realized today. since the time I realized this, I have not been able to have peace of mind and constantly ask Allah for forgiveness in prayers. But is there something which I should do so that my heart and soul are free from the guilt of the grave sin committed in childhood and teenage. Please guide me. Allah hafiz Thank you

    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

The hadith says: ?One who repents of his sins is just like one who did not commit any sin.? So, when you are repenting to Allah continuously from the sins, it is hoped that Allah will certainly forgive you, in-shaAllah. In future also, you should keep on repenting to Allah and asking for His forgiveness along with doing charity and other good deeds.
