Title: I want to ask about the sunnah of hair for a man

Question: I want to ask about the sunnah of hair for a man. Most importantly does shaving the whole head is a sunnah or not? As in Khanqahi system it is a very normal practice and preaching of Sheikhs.

(Fatwa: 1647/1127/L=1432) It is Sunnah to shave complete head. فالحاصل : أن السنة حلق الكل أو ترك الكل وما سواهما منهى عنه (درمع الدرارى : 3/330) وقال فى الشامي : وفى الروضة للزندويسي : إن السنة فى شعر الراس اما الفرق واما الحلق وذكر الطحاوى : إن الحلق سنة ونسب ذلك إلى العلماء الثلاثة (شامى: 9/584) وقال العلامة ابن عبدالبر : وقد أجمع العلماء على إباحة الحلق وكفى بهذا حجة (المغنى مع الشرح: 1/73-74)
