Title: Working as a phone banking officer in ICICI bank

Question: Now I am working in phone banking department as a phone banking officer in ICICI bank and my actual work is to help the bank customer over the phone because most of banking features in ICICI bank is online so when customer is facing any problem related to internet banking, phone banking, any type of discrepancy, disputes from his account and how to use internet banking, how to pay my bills, how to transfer my funds to another account and lots of queries regarding this so that time we are helping them to resolve the same but we never communicate with our customer regarding interest (sood), so this is halal for me? Due to financial problem I am doing this job, kindly clarify this because I am not advising any customer to take any product which gives him interest (sood) like Fixed Deposits.

As per the detail of your task which you have written (that you do not have to talk to the customers regarding interest nor you have to advise about it), your job is lawful as per the Shariah, you can continue it.
