Title: Minimum number of Ayat to recite in a rakat in salat.

Question: (1) What is the minimum number of Ayah one should recite after Surah Fatiha in a rakah in salah? (2) Can one recite Ayatul Kursi after Surah Fatiha? If yes, does one need to recite additional ayah or Ayatul Kursi alone is good enough before proceeding to ruku? I appreciate if you provide some references in this regards as well.

(Fatwa: 382/346/SN=06/1436) (1) It is wajib to recite at least three verses of the Holy Quran or one long verse after surah Fatiha in the first two rakah of Fardh salahs as well as in each rakah of all the other salahs for Imam and the person offering salah individually. ومنها ضم السورة أو ما يقوم مقامها من الآيات التي تعدل سورة إليها أي إلى الفاتحة الخ (حلبى كبيرى، ص: 296، ط: زكريا) (2) It is sufficient to recite Ayatul Kursi.
