Title: Nikah and Mahr

Question: I have question, if a person whose income is not halal, performs nikah and pays mahr form that income. In this case his nikah would be valid or not.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1352/916/L=10/1435) Nikah shall be valid. However, he should pay the mahr from halal income.
