Question: Is it permissible to put on a nicotine patch while fasting? The nicotine patch is placed on the arm and the nicotine is time released into the bloodstream as an aid to quit smoking and to stop the craving for a cigarette. This method does not involve inhaling any smoke?

(Fatwa: 1108/1134/N=09/1435) Yes, it is right to put on a nicotine patch while fasting provided it does not contain any intoxicative ingredient. It shall not nullify the fast.

USA is an open enemy of Muslims and has declared open wars in many muslim countries. as a hanafi i gave loans to non-muslims here in USA and i take heavy interest on them.
