    Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1118/865/B=1434) If you are poor and needy and widow and you have none to look after you then you may take the whole amount of the life insurance of your husband. The extra amount that is other than the capital amount is allowed for the needy and poor ones to use. Note: However, if the capital amount is equal to nisab then you may not take the extra amount. It is necessary to give it in charity to the poor. (N)
