Title: SECTS-FIRQA

Question: I am going through serious confusion, as all knows there are 73 sects in Islam, as I am a follower of Deobandi beliefs and of Imam Abu Hanifa (RA). Please tell me from which sect of Islam we belong to (tablighi Jamah), I have discussed with lots of people but till now I have not got any satisfactory reply i have lot more question, but first I have to clear this because I am working in Delhi and here lots of people of Ahl Hadith, Barailavi, Wahabi and different sects mostly call themselves Sunni. So please reply me as soon as possible.

(Fatwa: 137/137/M=1434) You need not land yourself in confusion. As per hadith there shall be seventy three sects in this Ummah; only one of them shall be righteous, which shall follow the path of the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and of his companions. Alhamdulillah, the Deobandi people and the tablighi Jamah are Ahl Haq as they are following the sunnah of the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and of his Companions. You must hold Hanfiyat and Deobandiyat firmly and do not let yourself be astray by any misguided sect. Ahl Hadith and Barailavi though they are Muslims but are not from Ahl Sunnah al-Jamah.
