Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !
(Fatwa: 1748/1748/M=1433) The second marriage is not unlawful but it is very difficult to maintain justice between the two wives. Almighty Allah says in the holy Quran: But, if you fear that you will not maintain equity, then (keep to) one woman, or bondwomen you own. [4:3] That non-Muslim is a strange woman for you until you marry her and it is necessary to observe purdah with a strange woman. If that woman needs moral support then she should marry any Muslim man so that she could be taken care of. However, whatever moral support you could offer her you can but with purdah and keeping the Shariah limit in mind. You can send your wife to her and can take care of her. You should give up talking and meeting her directly.
