Title: I am Hafiz Quran. On 21st Ramadan I will be given my degree in my madrasa

Question: I am Hafiz Quran. On 21st Ramadan I will be given my degree in my madrasa. But I want to sit in etikaf. In this condition can I go from mosque to madrasa to collect my degree? If so, will my etikaf remain sunnah or it will turn into nafl?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1681/1318/B=1433) May Allah accept your i’tikaf. In the state of i’tikaf one can go out of the mosque only for natural calls and Shariah needs, . It is not lawful to go out of the mosque only to collect the degree of Hifz; it is neither natural nor Shariah need.
