Question: I am registered pharmacist according to Maharashtra pharmacy council. I have a license to open medical shop. Can I give this license on rent basis (some fixed monthly amount) to other person to open the medical shop?

(Fatwa: 1767/1242/L=1432) If the government gives the licence to the specific person and he is not allowed to give it to any other person, then it shall be lie and deception to give such licence to a person on rent and hence it will be unlawful.
