Question: (1) I am working in Saudi Arabia. I am engaged. Can I talk with her. Is it allowed according to Shariah? (2) My friend is also here. He is engaged with his cousin sister. Before he talked her frankly but now he wants to talk her. Is it right or wrong?

(Fatwa: 1151/721/L=1432) Until you do not marry your fiancé, she is like a stranger. As it is not lawful to talk to other girls, in the same way it is not lawful to talk frankly to one's fiancé before nikah.
