Question: ASALAM VA ALAIKUM,May i please know what is the procedure for a woman if her bleeding stops before forty days that is during nifaas ? and for how many days she should abstain from intercourse later?

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 995/995/M=1432) She should start salah after having ghusl. If the blood of nifas (postpartum period) stops as per habit, then intercourse may be had after ghusl or after passing the time of one salah.
