Question: I live in Islamabad the recent flood hits our district of Nowshera our college announces scholarships for flood affected area students from USAID i also submited my name.we have lost nothing in flood but as the scholarships were for the students belonging to that area so i also applied now will that be jaiz for me?

(Fatwa: 833/539/H=1432) Enquire the people in charge of the college, if as per the rule you are eligible to receive the scholarship you are permissible to receive it, otherwise not.
