    Title: I have two question regarding 1) Salah, 2) azan I was born and brought up in Tamilnadu (Indian southern state), but now I am working in Saudi Arabia for the past few years. The place where i work is 40km from my home but as per geographical method it is located out of our town. Can you please advise if I have to pray Qsr Salah at my work place or the complete salah. Azan: This is most common among us, most of us talk during Azaan. I heard from people, The Holy Prophet(SAW) said, Stop doing everything during the Azaan, even reading the Quran, the person who talks during the Azaan will not be able to say the Kalimah-e-Shahadat on his/her death bed. When I try to say this to other they ask me for authentication can you please provide me the hadis in this regards

    (1) In the question mentioned above you are not sharai musafir, hence it is necessary for you to offer complete four rakat salah at your work place, it is not lawful for you to do qasr.

    (2) Answering Azan is mustahab while some other have regarded it wajib, but the reliable and evident ruling is of being mustahab. The ruling for one who is reciting the holy Quran (tilawat) is that if he is reciting in the mosque then he should continue and if he is not in the mosque rather at his home etc, he should stop reciting and answer the Azan. At the time of Azan one should get busy in answering Azan and talking should be stopped, it is not good to continue talking and not answering the Azan. It is wrong to believe that one who talks during Azan will not be able to say Kalma-e-Shahadah at the time of death.
