Title: Working in Photographic company

Question: I am working in a company in Muscat which mainly deals in Photographic products and services. I am working in one of the top position in this organization. The following are the areas of our business: (1) We do big size printing & make wall frames for Ministry Buildings, Hotels & houses. Mostly the photos are natural scenes, but some time human photos also. (2) One of our departments does photography mainly for constructions projects, but sometimes people and functions event also. (3) We sell machines that can print photographs. (4) We sell material required for printing photos. (5) We sell cameras as well as its accessories. Please let me know if working for such company is permissible or not?

If most of the business of the company are related to unlawful photography then it is not lawful to work for such a company. But if most of the business are related to lawful things and the work of unlawful photography is little then in such a case your work shall not be termed as unlawful and haram. However, it is even better to avoid it.
