Title: Asak Mufti Saheb, While me and my husband were planning for a baby,we did neeyat that if we have a baby boy,we will name him after the name of Hazrat Mohammad (p.b.u.h). By the grace of Allah,through our ultrasound report we get to know that the chances of having a baby boy are higher. My question is :My husband's family name is "Ahmed" which is another name of Hzt. Mohammad(p.b.u.h).So,should I specifically keep my baby's first name after the name of Prophet Mohd.or since the surname of the baby will be Ahmed,so it fulfills our neeyat? I would appreciate your response. AH

You may keep any of the two names: Ahmad or Muhammad.
