Title: to provide carpet or shaff in shai mosque.

Question: I married to a Shia girl 18 years ago. We are in happy life and she is following all the things same like me as a Sunni follower. She wants to give a carpet (shaff) in Shia masjid or imam bara. Is it permissible for me to purchase and give it to Shia mosque? Kindly guide me for this situation what I have to do.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 121/35/TL=01/1435) You are not allowed to purchase and donate carpet to Shia mosque or Imam Bara. It should be noted that when your wife became Sunni Muslim, then should leave Shia practices and become –Sunni Muslim completely.

Q. i am sameer deshmukh from gwalior,my matter is that there is a mosque in my neighbour where i offer namaz going regularly to masque i found that waqf commitie members has given permission to a non muslim to do all kind of work like wise collecting rent from shops of masque,giving sallary to imaam,cleaning water tank and other important work like mantaining all expenses records.but when i questioned to the waqf commitie they said there is no harm.and when i asked for expense statement they said you have no right to see the records we will show it to state waqf board and to allah only.please guid me from quran and hadit that such work of masjid be done by a non muslim or muslim ,and can a person see expense record of waqf commitie. 1378 views
