Title: Can one communicate thru sms or mobile with her divorced wife

Question: Can one communicate with her divorced wife during iddah period through SMS or mobile? Also is it allowed to communicate after halalah since both are genuinely interested in reconciliation? Kindly guide us.

Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !

(Fatwa: 1436/1436/M=1433) After three talaqs, a woman becomes haram for her husband. Hence it is not allowed to talk to a woman who is divorced with three talaqs without a need. Yes, after Shariah halalah when you do nikah again then she would become your wife and it will be correct for you to talk to her.
