Question # : 162671

Bangladesh

When I sit to read the book of Allah, the Quran, sometimes I feel sleepy. It happens every now and then that, I am reciting a verse sitting on floor, suddenly I am lost in sleepiness, my recitation stops and then after a few moments I get back myself with a shake. Does that break my wudhu? Can I continue my recitation in that state? Please note that, my head gets lower sometimes for dizziness but I do not get fell on floor, I am still in sitting position though. Please help me with the answer. May Allah reward you all.

If your buttock remained stuck to the ground in spite of your sleepiness then your wudhu will not break though your head gets down due to dizziness. So in the question mentioned above you may start the recitation again.
