    The Hadith prohibits us from facing Qibla direction at the time of excretions (discharging urine and stool): اذا أتیتم الغائط فلا تستقبلوا القبلۃ ولا تستدبروھا و لکن شرقوا او غربوا

     

    This prohibition is based on desecration, and the same desecration is found in stretching the leg towards Qibla as well; therefore the scholars of Fiqh have derived this ruling that stretching leg towards Qibla is disliked:

    ویکرہ مد رجلیہ فی نوم او غیرہ الیھا عمداً لانہ اساءۃ ادب (شامی: 2/427)
