If due to keeping fast during the month of Ramadan, you fear about your life or your child's life though on ground of probability or by prescription of an expert Muslim doctor, then in such case you are exempted from keeping fast. Later, it is necessary for you to do its qaza. But, if there is no threat on life, then it is obligatory to keep fast. Thus, if your husband is rich and can have wet-nurse for breastfeeding the child, then you must not abandon keeping fast. However, if the child does not take milk of anyone except his own mother, then it is right form the mother not to keep fast, she should do qaza later.
