When your wife herself has written to do what is according to Shariah, then the matter is very easy. You should tell her that the order of shariah is that you should accompany me home and stay there with good conduct. And if you wish you can serve my mother willingly, but it is not wajib on you to serve my mother. I will pay all the rights pertaining to you and child. In short, live happy life together with good character and moral, so is written in shariah and this is liked by Almighty Allah and the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). These things have been written beautifully in Bahishti Zewar, Islah Inquilab, Hayatul Muslimin, Tohfah Khawatin (by Hadhrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Ashiq Ilahi, Bulandshahri). These books should be held very dear by the Muslims particularly husband and wife, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and brother's wife. In-sha-Allah, it shall be very useful to study and read out these books.
