(Fatwa: 497/497/M=1434) A Muslim can accept gifts from a non-Muslim provided it involves no evil. It is also allowable to participate in their party and function if you do not have to commit any act against Shariah: ولا باس بالذھاب الی ضیافۃ اھل الذمۃ (الفتاوی الھندیۃ 5/426، بیروت)

Q. Assalamu alaikum, Refering to the fatwa id:12432, you had send a mail to brief what is hypnotism / hypnosis. Hypnotism is done by psychatrist where they make us go into unconscious mind or state and ask us the things which happened in the past. They try to erase the problems faced by us in the past. For egs: One kind is there are people who doesn't know wat is the problem and solution, they try to do hynotism. Q. Assalamualaikum, I would like to ask if taking the services of companies like CRYOSAVE etc are BA SHARAH or not. They basically take umbilical cord blood(which is medical waste) just after the birth of babies and store it in their facility. the blood is a rich source of stem cells which can be used by the baby in case of any life threatening disease by implanting them to the affected part.The umbilical cord is the richest source of the best type of stem cells.
