Title: Is it permissible to use airline company for traveling which deals in wine?

Question: Assalamualaikum, I am grateful to Allah (swt) whos helped u in starting this website. Congratulations! 1. Recently a new airline was started in india by the name of KINGFISHER AIRLINES. This airline belongs to the business group whose main business is liquor/wine producing. Is it permissible to use this airline for traveling or the water which this company produces? 2. Kindly also thru light on the knowledge & working of Dr. Zakir Naik who is famous for his comparative religion lectures & debates, also runs a Tv channel by the name of PEACE TV. JazakAllah Wa Assalaam

(Fatwa: 288/B=274/B) (1) It is lawful for non-Muslims to deal in wine and thus its earnings are Halal for them. If they have started the airline with this income then it is from lawful earnings. It is permissible for Muslims to travel by their airlines. (2) We do not have details about Dr. Zakir Naik, only we know that he is an agent of Ghair Muqallideen, away from knowledge and wisdom, spreading mischievous things and misguiding simple Muslims to wrong path.
