One can take foreign currency in debt; there is no wrong in doing so, but the debt should be paid by the same foreign currency. (2) It is sunnah to recite first five verses of Surah Baqrah at the head of the dead and to recite last three verses of Surah Baqrah at his/her leg. It is also sunnah to pray for the dead with face towards ka?ba silently (not loudly) without raising hands. And, at places where there is no fear of misconception it is allowable to raise hands during praying. For details see: Fatawa Mahmoodiah: 14/307-309.
