Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Rahim !
(Fatwa: 1148/1088=B/1430)
There is no period of time fixed for burial, but it is better to bury as soon as possible; therefore as soon as the janazah is ready the salah should be performed. It is narrated in Sahih Muslim:
(2) As per the Shariah, postmortem operation is an act of great sin, but it does not cause any pain to the dead as they are lifeless:
(3) It is hoped that he was heading to any good thing, so he will get blessing. (Tabeerur Ruya, Urdu 293)
