Title: Aslam o alaikum. I am a student in medical college.Thr is a problem with me tht i m irresponsible.i belong to a rich family so i did nt care before from where the money was comin and which way i wasting . So my studies were affected by this atitude.wht does islam say abt this act of irresponsibilty and nt caring for the money sent to me by my parents. Any punishment for thir irresponsible person. If i think to run my family and fulfilling thr rights is it against tawkul or yaqeen. I m asking this cuz my life changed due to tableegh.then i was offering my prayers and going in the way of Allah but i was weaker towards my studies,no interest.later when i consulted psychotherapist he said it is because of irresponsible attitude towards future,ur duties.plz answer my question in detail so i can act more responsible and keep balance b/w deen and duniya.

How did you come to know that you are irresponsible? You should also have indicated what kinds of irresponsibility you have committed. You can manage the household with piety and firm belief, rather you can also run the family in a better way while believing in Allah Almighty and with the blessing of piety. Because of fearing Allah, you can discharge well the rights and duties of the people. So, you should keep carrying out the Islamic acts along with studying Islamic books such as Behishti Zewar, Taleemuddin, Hayatus-Sahaba, and keep going to Jama?ah.
